I've read this story long ago... well, very long ago. But a sudden thing made me to recall it. I mean the new single of Pink called "Funhouse" which seems to strongly refer to Bradberie's creation. Did anyone notice that?! There's a wonderful likeness between the story and the song; so I believe that Pink gave a new life to it. Here are a couple of lines:

Echoes knocking on locked doors
All the laughter from before
I'd rather live out on the street
Than in this haunted memory
